Product Description

MBR is a combination of membrane technology and bio-chemical  reaction  in water treatment. MBR filter the sewage in bio-chemical tank with membrane so that sludge and water are separated. On one hand, membrane rejects microorganisms in the tank, which greatly increase the concentration of activated sludge to a high level, thus the bio-chemical reaction of sewage degradation processes more rapidly and thoroughly. On the other hand, water output is clear and of high quality because of high precision of membrane.

This product adopts reinforced modified PVDF material, which will not peel or break  during  backwashing,  meanwhile  it  has  good  permeable  rate,  mechanical performance,  chemical  resistance  and  anti-fouling  ability.  ID  &  OD  of  reinforced hollow fiber membrane are 1.0mm and 2.2mm respectively, filtering precision is 0.1 micron.  Filtering  direction  is  outside-in,  that  is  raw  water,  driven  by  differential pressure, permeates into the hollow fibers, while bacteria, colloids, suspended solids and microorganisms etc. are rejected in the membrane tank.

Using Conditions

Proper   pretreatments   must   be   set   when   raw   water   contains   a   lot   of impurities/coarse particles or large proportion of grease. Defoamer must be used to remove foams  in  membrane tank when  necessary,  please  use alcoholic defoamer which is not easy to scale.

---Replace the filter cartridge step
1. Receive the production instruction to replace the cartridge and confirm that the system has stopped running.
2. Prepare the appropriate filter element (specification, material, size, O-ring material, type, etc.), disassembly tools, collection bucket, rags, etc.; and
3. Thoroughly clean the filter housing, empty around the filter, and leave the operation area. Take protective gears with you.
4. Disconnect the filter to be replaced from the system. Slowly open the exhaust port at the top of the filter and depressurise it, paying attention to safety in the process to prevent material or liquid from splashing.
5. Empty the material in the filter, open the filter cover with a tool, take out the filter cartridge, and pack the cartridge in a plastic bag to be scrapped; 6 Use clean tools and rags to clean the filter.
6. Use clean tools and rags to clean the inside of the filter and install the new cartridge.
7. Open the plastic bag at the open end of the filter element and check whether the O-ring is intact and in place.
8. Install the inflow of materials according to the method of inflow from the outside of the filter element and outflow from the inside of the filter element.
9. with the appropriate wetting agent (such as water) wet O-ring and cartridge seat jack, hand-hold the cartridge near the end of the O-ring, vertically insert the cartridge cartridge socket completely into the cartridge seat jack, the cartridge inserted, remove the cartridge bag, and then install the metal cover, with tools to tighten the filter; 10 close the filter drain port, open the plastic bag, open the filter, the filter is complete, in place.
10. Close the liquid discharge port of the filter, open the bleeder valve at the top of the housing, slightly open the inlet valve, so that the material enters the housing until the liquid overflows from the bleeder valve at the top of the housing, at this time close the bleeder valve. Pay attention to check the disassembly place, whether there is leakage;.
11. Slowly open the filter outlet valve until it is completely open. Indicates that the replacement is complete.
12. Remove the tools used for replacement and cleaning tools. Clean up the surrounding area.



---Bag filter instalation step 

1. First of all, it is necessary to confirm whether the accessories required for the installation of bag filter have been prepared;
2. Check the O-ring seal and the O-ring groove on the bag filter in order to replace the accessories in time;
3. When installing the bag filter, it is necessary to place the bag filter on the work station that needs to be filtered. After connecting the inlet and outlet flanges or pipe teeth, fix the filter, smother the exhaust port, or configure the exhaust valve, and the jacket type connects the thermal insulation heat source;
4. Slowly put the metal mesh basket into the bag filter, so that the collar of the mesh basket and the interface of the bag filter can be matched;
5. Place the liquid bag filter, so that the bag filter bag ring mouth as well as the metal mesh basket collar can match;
6. Place the O-ring seal into the O-ring groove, O-ring seal can not be twisted or deformed;
7. After aligning the top cap of the bag filter, tighten the two diagonal hanging caps at the same time, and then tighten all the hanging caps afterwards;
8. Close the exhaust valve installed on the top of the bag filter;
9. Check whether each connecting pipe is firm and whether the working pressure is within the permitted range;

---Bag filter replacement cycle

---How to increase the service life of bag filter
1. Do a good job of water pre-treatment. pp bag filter bag fouling, a large part of the reason is that the water quality is too poor. In order to avoid high turbidity, poor water quality of the feed water, resulting in filter bag fouling blockage, so that the cleaning frequency service life is reduced, it is necessary to improve the quality of the feed water. Only through good pre-treatment, so that the quality of feed water to meet the water requirements, in order to fundamentally solve the problem. 

2. Maintain a normal operating load. Although the pp bag filter has a large processing capacity, but then the processing capacity is also a certain upper limit, more than its upper limit will inevitably lead to an increase in the operating load of the filter, which will lead to a reduction in the service life of the filter bag and filter itself, and shorten the replacement cycle. ---Why use salt in PE salt tank? What kind of salt is needed?

PE salt tank, as part of water softening unit, is mainly used to hold NaCl salt solution (brine). It is generally made of PE material and contains a salt grid and a salt well. Salt valves are also installed in the salt wells to ensure the automatic operation of the water softener. So why use salt in water softening treatment? What kind of salt is needed?

During the softened water generation reaction, the Na+ in the resin needs to adsorb Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the raw water to obtain softened water. When the resin absorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions, its absorption efficiency will gradually decrease. At this point, it needs to be regenerated. The resin layer is cleaned with brine in a salt tank to replace the calcium and magnesium ions on the resin and discharged with a waste solution. If there is a lack of salt, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water cannot be removed after the resin reaches saturation and softened water production cannot continue. Therefore, the desalinated water equipment needs salt to ensure its better operation.

What kind of salt is used in the PE salt tank? Is it table salt?

Is it table salt in the salt tank? Of course not. Water softening equipment uses special salt, also known as ion exchange resin regenerator, also known as water softening salt. Its main chemical composition is sodium chloride (NaCl), purity is greater than 99.5%. Sodium content in line with national standards, can effectively remove hardness (other water calcium, magnesium ions and some alkali impurities), regeneration restore resin.

Can I use industrial salt in the water softening tank? What is the difference between it and water softening salt?

Industrial salt should not be used in water softening tanks. Industrial salt not only contains a single substance sodium chloride, but also a variety of substances collectively referred to as industrial salt, such as potassium nitrate, potassium chloride, sodium nitrite and other industrial substances, can be called "industrial salt".

The special salt for water softening equipment is in the form of mothballs, with special additives. Pure white, no impurities, purity of 99.5% or more. It can effectively remove calcium, magnesium ions and some water alkali impurities in water, regenerate and restore the resin, and keep the water without scaling.

Calculation of salt consumption of water softening equipment

Salt is needed for salt absorption and regeneration of water softening equipment, and salt consumption should be calculated according to the requirements of inlet hardness and outlet water quality. Theoretically, the salt consumption of the resin regeneration of desalinated water equipment has nothing to do with the inlet hardness, but only with the working exchange capacity of the resin. In general, the amount of regeneration liquid of water softening equipment is 2~3 times of the filling volume of resin, i.e., each litre of resin needs about 160g of salt.

In summary, salt is a continuous consumption of water treatment consumables. It should be added before the salt in the PE salt tank is depleted, and can be added up to one quarter of the standard salt tank.
